And the adventures begin!!

Or at least that's what I hope...

Yesterday was my last day of teacher's college. Nothing too special. In the morning we had our "exit conferences." At first I thought this was a really stupid idea, sitting around in groups of 3 presenting our portfolios and talking about what we have learned this year. In the end, however, I really enjoyed it. It helped that the two people in my group were great to talk with. Also, we didn't really approach it as a presentation of our portfolio, but more a conversation about our experiences. It was nice to hear that other people had similar experiences and learning to me, and that I am not the only one who feels ready to go out and learn rather than fully prepared already.

And as for going out and learning, I get to do that in Germany! I haven't yet accepted the position, but will on Tuesday when I talk with on of the HR people from the schools. It still feels completely unreal. It is exciting, scary and everything in between! I have spent some time looking up Frankfurt, and keep learning new interesting things. Yesterday I learned that at the end of August they have a museum festival! In one area on the river Main there are over 20 museums (yes, over 20!!!) and during the festival they are open long into the night. I go to Frankfurt in July, so definitely plan to check this festival out!

On a completely different note, tomorrow I go to Brownie Camp. I am so sad to be leaving brownies here in Kingston. I have been so lucky to work with such amazing people and girls. It will be nice to leave on such a high note :)
