Another sunset

Last week I finished up my German lessons for this year. After Easter we will start softball training on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I can't also go to German. I had a lovely view on Thursday walking across the Holbeinsteg:

After class we went out for dinner altogether. It was a nice way to celebrate my last class. The next day I got together with one of the guys in the class and a group of his friends, to go to a hockey game. First playoff game of the year - and it was an intense one! The teams seemed to have a huge rivalry by about the second period. The game included two 5 minute penalties, and Frankfurt killing off a 2 minute 5 on 3. Made for a fun night!!

Spring is coming!

Three things I love about spring:

1) Warm weather
2) Flowers and plants
3) Outdoor softball practices

I got each of these for the first time this weekend. I got out twice on my bike today, ran around the softball field wearing a t-shirt and took some pictures to share. I didn't get any good ones of the early spring flowers, but I have bought a bunch of cut daffodils for my room.

I feel like it is already spring! I am so excited for more nice weather, more flowers and more time outside. Makes having to go to school tomorrow just that little bit better ... unfortunately I have a dentist appointment before school which sort of ruins it.
