When my Mum and I went to pick up my gown and tickets early the morning of graduation we ended up being too early, and had to hang around. We were there at 7:30am but the one place didn't open until 8. So we were hanging out on the main floor of Kingston Hall watching the cleaning lady clean. When she first started talking to us we didn't really know what she was talking about. Mum even thought she was telling her she looked like a bat! Finally we figured out she meant there was a bat sleeping on the open door we'd just come through. She had to clean the windows, but was terrified! We didn't really know what to do, so just told her we were sure the doors could wait another day to be cleaned. However, the bat decided to fix the problem by waking up. But it flew inside the building instead of out the open door! It kept flying up and down the hall, and every time it went back towards the cleaning lady she would shriek and go back to hiding in a classroom! It was kind of amusing, but we were busy trying to a, calm her down and b, convince the bat to go outside. The bat finally decided on another place to sleep near the end of the hall. The cleaning lady went to get some other cleaning people to help remove the bat, but by the time they got there it had gone up into the ceiling! Apparently there was some opening near the ceiling to a space between the floors. Made us wonder if there were more bats up there. Hopefully they won't decide to come out while the cleaning lady is on duty :)
