I was home this year for almost three weeks and it was perfection! I could do with a life of not having to work and always being on holiday :) We kept busy, Dad and I even managed one long bike ride out to East Vancouver. We took a short tour around Strathcona to have a look at what house I would like when I move back home. I found a nice pink one, but I think I might still be favouring the purple one!
I got home for Christmas on the 21st. Got off the plane, went home and then we went straight out for sushi - it was perfect!! We celebrated Robert's birthday the next day by going out to dinner at a fancy restaurant near us. Then on Christmas Eve we had Hannah and Kyla over to make gingerbread houses. I am still eating all the candy from that!

The Monday after Christmas, Dad and I took our bikes out and rode across Vancouver. We ended up down along the water almost at second narrows bridge. Then went back up to Hastings, and ended up in a Vietnamese restaurant for lunch. I don't know if it was all the biking, but man it was delicious!

| New Year's Eve day at Pat and Gerry's in Gibsons |
During the day on New Year's Eve, we went out to Gibsons to visit Pat, Gerry and Uncle Glenn. The weather was rotten (foggy and grey), but we did go into the town to the oil and vinegar store. That was a neat experience - came home with some pomegranate and quince vinegar!
