Today I finally spent some time redecorating and organizing my room. Before Christmas I decided that I wanted to redecorate my house, because I didn't really like how it looked. Jessica and I have chosen some things to buy from Ikea for the living room, hopefully I will get out there soon. Yesterday at the flea market I bought some nails so I could finally hang up my bulletin board in my room. It was an exciting purchase - five nails for 20 cents! I moved some boxes into my wardrobe, hung some photos and my calendar, and also the bulletin board. I really like how it looks now. The only thing I want to still do is find some kind of shelf for the corner to put my plants on. Right now they are still taking up about a quarter of my desk.
The other area that I had to reorganize was my dresser as my Dad made me a beautiful jewellery box for Christmas. I organized all my hair things and jewellery. Then I hung two photo frames I have. I found two photos for them, but will get some new ones printed soon. Here is the new look:

The new jewellery box DOES look very pretty! I wonder how he cut the lighter wood so thinly...do you know? And 20c for nails sounds like a bargain....or at least much better than buying a whole box!
